Since the onset of extended rainfall in Odesa, specialized equipment from the municipal enterprise «City Roads» has been deployed to prevent possible flooding in the city streets.

Currently, the roads in the city are passable. There are partial floods on 5th st. V. Fontana and Yarmarok Street. A total of 344 specialists and 46 units of equipment are working on the streets.

In cases of prolonged rain, such as today, special water pumping machines, including a high-pressure hydrodynamic unit based on a MAN truck, are stationed on streets: Balkivska, Prymorska, Yevhen Chykalenko, Heavenly Hundred, on French Boulevard and Customs Square, where flooding is usually possible during heavier rainfall.

Additionally, employees of the municipal enterprise «City Roads» are on the streets, using excavators with special attachments or manually clearing storm drains and drainage wells of debris, branches, and leaves carried there by rainwater flows.
