A meeting of the Barrier-Free Council took place in Odesa, chaired by Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

During the session, the focus was on improving the accessibility of the tram route 'North - South'.

Seventeen stops have already been equipped to facilitate boarding and alighting for persons with disabilities.

Furthermore, plans are in place to reconstruct an additional nine stops soon.

Particular attention is being paid to stops located in densely populated areas, near social institutions, and at transfer points for other routes.
