The 25th anniversary of the international technology exhibition CEATEC-2024 took place in Chiba, Japan. 

This year, Ukrainian companies showcased their innovations for the third consecutive time at Asia's largest international event. 

The delegation from the Odessa City Council presented modern IT solutions at a unified booth. 

The director of the "Grant Office 'Odessa 5T'" Tamila Afanasyeva showcased the projects of the IT Family Odesa cluster and the Faculty of Cybersecurity of the International Humanitarian University.  

The Odessa team also participated in the 13th Asia Smart City Conference held in its sister city, Yokohama. 

The conference gathered leading experts in technology and urban development. 

During their visit to Japan, the delegation held meetings with the mayor of Yokohama, city council members, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Japan. 

Additionally, working talks were conducted with representatives of the Yokohama municipality, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the UN Development Programme office. 

In cooperation with Japanese companies such as Nippon Koei, JFE Engineering, and Sansei, priority infrastructure projects for Odessa were discussed. 

Discussions also took place with members of Japan's National UNESCO Commission regarding the preservation of cultural heritage. 

Japanese representatives expressed their solidarity with the Ukrainian people and their willingness to collaborate with the Odessa community.
