Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 3 has unveiled its modern reception and diagnostic department following renovations, operating around the clock.
The department features Melzer boxes—isolated rooms with separate exits and ventilation systems. This is crucial for patients suspected of infectious diseases, ensuring compliance with high sanitary standards and preventing the spread of infections.
Comfortable small surgical wards have also been renovated in the hospital. Endoscopic surgery is actively developing here, with an endoscopic room for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Even during wartime, renovation work continued unabated, emphasizing barrier-free access and inclusivity.
Odessa's Mayor Gennady Trukhanov noted that the city administration is continuously working to improve the quality of medical services and the conditions in healthcare facilities.
“We aim to create an environment that is pleasant for patients and conducive for medical professionals to work. Modern equipment, qualified specialists, and comfortable rooms—all for providing medical assistance at the highest level,” the mayor emphasized.
In December 2023, a new emergency and trauma department was established at Children's Hospital No. 3, addressing the needs of children in the Peresyp district. This facility provides assistance in urgent situations, including accidents, injuries, and animal bites, and also conducts vaccinations against serious diseases.
The emergency department is in high demand among residents and has received numerous positive reviews. Approximately 2000 children have already received medical assistance here in a short time.
The range of surgical and trauma services at Hospital No. 3 is constantly expanding. In addition to emergency care, qualified doctors perform planned surgeries, including complex reconstructive procedures using advanced techniques. Today, Children's City Clinical Hospital No. 3 is a powerful multi-profile medical center offering a wide range of modern medical services. The staff is highly motivated, continually enhancing their skills and competencies. Medical assistance is provided free of charge under the state medical guarantee program.
