Last week, with the support of the «Donor Odesa» project, a blood donation drive was held at Odesa City Clinical Hospital No. 1, organized by a team from the Odesa Regional Blood Transfusion Station.

Approximately 30 employees and visitors contributed blood during the event. The staff of City Clinical Hospital No. 1 has repeatedly participated in blood donation both within the facility and as part of the ongoing citywide campaign «Donate Blood — Save Lives».

Since the onset of the full-scale war, the demand for donor blood has remained critically high. Today, blood is vital for saving wounded defenders of Ukraine and other patients.

Any interested groups can organize a mobile blood donation directly in their premises. To do this, you need to:

1. Assemble a group of 25-50 willing donors. Ensure that potential donors do not have absolute contraindications or temporary restrictions on blood donation.

2. Agree on a suitable date by calling 0668422387 or messaging via Telegram @donorodesa 

3. The day before donating blood, you must follow certain dietary restrictions and avoid some medications.
