This week, medical staff from Primary Health Care Center No. 16 conducted a vaccination campaign against diphtheria and tetanus for employees of Odesa Bread Factory No. 4 over two days.

A total of 75 employees received the vaccine to prevent these dangerous diseases.

The Odesa City Health Department continues its active efforts for additional vaccinations against whooping cough, diphtheria, and tetanus, following an initiative from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine aimed at supporting epidemic safety.

Currently, about 84% of children eligible for vaccination have been immunized according to the additional immunization plan. Adults also need to undergo revaccination every 10 years to maintain protection against these diseases.

During wartime, ensuring that the population is vaccinated to prevent the rapid spread of infectious diseases is a matter of national security.

The City Health Department reminds about the possibility of organizing free vaccination visits for organized groups.

Vaccinations are administered by qualified medical professionals, and the vaccines are certified and stored under proper conditions.

Any groups interested in organizing vaccinations for their employees can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone at (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
