With this new collaboration, NASA+ programs will be available on Netflix, which boasts over 700 million subscribers globally.

"Viewers will have the chance to witness rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, mission reports, and stunning views of Earth from the International Space Station," stated the American space agency.

"The National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 calls for us to share the story of space exploration with the widest possible audience," said Rebecca Sirmons, the general manager of NASA+.

NASA hopes this will allow them to "convey the excitement of discoveries, innovations, and the agency's space research to people wherever they may be."
