Elon Musk's New Political Venture

Elon Musk announced on social media platform X that he is establishing a new political entity in the USA called the "American Party", which aims to serve as an alternative to the traditional two-party system. This initiative has already garnered interest from the business community, including billionaire Mark Cuban and investor Anthony Scaramucci, who have publicly expressed their support for Musk. This was reported by Engadget.

Cuban, who reacted to Musk's post with cheerful emojis, indicated that he is collaborating with the Center for Competitive Democracy and is willing to assist Musk's party in getting on the ballots.

Scaramucci, who briefly held the position of communications director in the White House during Trump’s presidency in 2017, offered to meet with Musk to discuss the next steps. It’s known that both businessmen previously supported Kamala Harris.

Musk stated that his "American Party" aims to secure 2–3 seats in the Senate and 8–10 districts in the House of Representatives. Currently, it remains unclear whether the political entity has been officially registered, as some mentions in the Federal Election Commission appear dubious and coexist with humorous names like "DOGE Party" and "American Meme Party".
