Serhiy Kozyuba, the Deputy Mayor of Odessa, held a meeting with the experts from the Barrier-Free Council.

The goal is to create comfortable and safe conditions for movement within the city for people with disabilities, veterans, and all mobility-impaired populations.

Currently, a comprehensive analysis of routes is underway, examining the state of pedestrian infrastructure, points of tourist interest, service areas, and navigation.

“We aim for every guest and resident of Odessa to experience the city as not only beautiful but also truly accessible,” said Alexey Morozov, advisor to the Mayor of Odessa on barrier-free spaces.

The work on this initiative will unfold in several phases, including consultations with the public, experts, and representatives of mobility-impaired groups.
