Late on August 28, in the Peresyp district of Odessa, a fire broke out in an apartment on the first floor of a nine-story residential building on David Oistrakh Street.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odessa region.

Rescue teams promptly extinguished the fire. At the scene, they discovered the body of a 1973-born citizen. Rescuers evacuated seven individuals from the upper floors. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire and assess the damages.
