From July 2 to 8, 2025, the picturesque heart of the Carpathians, Bukovel, hosted the All-Ukrainian festival of choreographic, vocal, and circus arts known as OKSAMYT WONDERLAND-BUKOVEL.

Among 300 competitors, the folk artistic group, the dance ensemble “Carnival” from the Odessa Center for Children's and Youth Creativity “Moryana,” distinguished itself by winning the Grand Prix of the festival.

The Odessa team also added three first places and one second place in various nominations to its collection of awards.

The performance “Stolen Childhood” emerged as the best entry, captivating the jury and audience with its emotional intensity and powerful message, symbolizing a generation yearning for peace and truth.

In addition to the competition, a diverse entertainment program was prepared for the children. They climbed the highest mountain in Ukraine, Hoverla, visited many picturesque spots in Ivano-Frankivsk region, participated in themed dances, workshops, and learned swimming skills in the pool while socializing with peers from other cities.

The “Carnival” ensemble is a collaborative project of the “Moryana” center and Odessa Lyceum No. 16, where this group is based, led by the talented dancer, choreographer, and highly professional teacher Vitaliy Kuznetsov.
