Residents of Odesa are invited to take part in the Global Cleanup Day World Cleanup Day. From August 20 to September 20, 2025 various events will be held across Ukraine, tailored to the current safety conditions due to the war.
The Global Cleanup Day is an initiative aimed at fostering a national awareness of cleanliness, proper waste management, and environmental protection. It also seeks to engage volunteers and support ecological initiatives.
The youth movement Let’s do it Ukraine invites all interested individuals, both in Ukraine and abroad, to participate in one of the safe formats and to record their results.
“In times of war, every good deed holds great importance. Cleaning is not only about caring for nature but also for the future of our children,” emphasized Yulia Marhel, the project coordinator in Ukraine.
Participation formats for Global Cleanup Day 2025:
- traditional cleanups — in parks, squares, and residential areas. You can join individually, with family, or collectively, while following safety protocols;
- digital cleanup — clearing unnecessary information from your devices: letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup;
- recycling — participate in the project «Find. Sort. Submit»: recyclingpoints.org;
- Ukrainians abroad can organize cleanups online or offline to support their homeland from afar. Registration of results is mandatory.
Details, instructions, and registration forms will be made available on our website.
Pre-registration for coordinators is mandatory.
The national online briefing for coordinators will take place on September 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on our page.
Your contribution makes a difference!
