The European Championship in kyokushin karate in the absolute weight category and the European Cup for various age groups has concluded successfully in Bucharest, Romania.

The competition featured 878 participants from 18 countries.

Among the members of the Ukrainian national team were athletes from Odesa.

In the 14-15 age group, Egor Tepliy won a silver medal (under 75 kg category), while Yana Strozhenko earned the same honor among 8-9 year old girls (under 30 kg category).

Bronze medals were awarded to Sofia Vinnychenko (8-9 years, under 30 kg category), Polina Klymenko (10-11 years, under 30 kg category), and Maksym Papov (14-15 years, 60 kg category).

The athletes were trained by Sergey Papov, Vladislav Panchenko, and Pavlo Vinnychenko.
