On December 22, the first stage of the Winter Cup SEASIDE RUNNERS was held in Odessa, focusing on athletic competitions.

A total of 152 athletes from different age groups participated in the event.

Among the youngest participants (under 6 years) in the 60-meter race, Regina Kalchenko and Lev Kalchenko celebrated victory, while silver medals went to Nika Polishina and Valera Isayev, and bronze medals were awarded to Olivia Lutskovich and David Horishok.

In the age group of 7-13 years, Valeria Tsibulishchenko won the 1 km race among girls, with Polina Tsibulishchenko taking the silver and Victoria Vasyuk finishing third. Among boys, Klymentiy Gerasymchuk took the top spot, followed by Andriy Zasnov in second and Andriy Kyryakov in third.

In the 5 km race, Olga Moroz and Yevhen Yasyinsky were the winners, with Elizabeth Sheremeta and Denis Polyakov taking silver, and bronze medals going to Anya Novikova and Maxim Petrov.

The fastest on the 10 km distance were Sofia Harmash and Sergey Saltevsky, while Anna Osemukha and Yevhen Vavilov came in second, and the third spots went to Olena Titova and Dmytro Bolotny.

On the longest distance of 25 km, the winners were Karine Grigoryan and Maxim Kyryakov, with Julia Kurnichanskaya and Viktor Lazanyuk taking silver, and bronze going to Oksana Postolenko and Artur Zherebtsov.

In addition to the races, a festive program was organized for the children.

The Winter Cup is a series of races designed to test physical fitness. Winners will be determined based on both individual stages and overall results. The event is organized by the public organization SEASIDE RUNNERS with the support of the Odessa City Council.
