image

On the night of June 25th, a drone attack occurred in the Odesa region. The targets were civilian facilities unrelated to military operations. As a result of the assault, warehouses of private companies, agricultural equipment, and machinery were damaged.

The Izmail District Prosecutor's Office has opened a criminal case regarding the shelling under the war crimes statute. "Under the supervision of the Izmail Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation into these war crimes has begun," officials reported.

Investigative teams are working at the scene, documenting all damages and collecting evidence. This is not the first instance of Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure in the border areas of Odesa, aiming to intimidate the local population and undermine the economy.

"Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by Russian forces," the prosecutor's office added.

It is noteworthy that an air alert was declared in Odesa region at the time of the attack. The head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, warned about the danger to the Izmail district.

"Izmail district, please stay in shelters!", he wrote on Telegram.
