On December 20, 2024, the V Christmas Choir Festival «The Fire of Christmas» was inaugurated at the Odessa Literary Museum, organized by the T. I. Boyeva Art School No. 15.

The Director of the Department of Culture of the Odessa City Council, Ivan Liptuga, welcomed participants with holiday greetings and encouraged them to continue celebrating Odessa with their talents.

Choirs from art schools and music institutions in Odessa region performed Christmas music, providing the audience with unforgettable impressions.

During the festival, a scientific-methodological conference «Christmas Songs in Contemporary Choral Music» was also held.

The conference discussed the development of Ukrainian folk singing and innovations in working with choirs within Ukraine's music education system.

The second day of the festival, December 23, 2024, will be dedicated to virtual performances by various ensembles. This year, choirs and ensembles from several large and small cities in Ukraine are participating, including Odessa, Chornomorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Stryzhavka, along with supporting groups from Norway and Moldova.
