As part of the initiative to promote the Ukrainian language among the residents of Odessa, a contest titled «Promotion of the Ukrainian Language» is announced from October 29 to November 29, 2024.
The main goal of this contest is to elevate the status of the Ukrainian language, foster love for it, highlight its beauty, and encourage young people to learn it, thereby enhancing national consciousness and supporting the creative abilities of the youth in the Odessa region.
The contest will be held in two stages:
Stage I - acceptance of works;
Stage II - evaluation of the works by the jury and determination of the winners.
To participate in the contest, you must send an application to the email address of the Department of Internal Policy of the Odessa City Council: dep_vp@omr.gov.ua, with the note «Social Advertising Contest».
Requirements for the works:
1. Technical requirements:
- posters can be created graphically or drawn by hand.
2. Works must be original and not previously published.
3. When submitting works, participants must adhere to the following conditions:
- content must not contradict Ukrainian legislation;
- text should be concise, clear, and original;
- emotional content through colors, fonts, light, graphics, etc.;
- absence of false information;
- relevance to the contest theme;
4. The works must not include:
- authors' names, contact information, commercial advertising, political symbols, and slogans;
- images of violence, discrimination, or any scenes that may offend someone's honor and dignity;
5. Works must be done in the Ukrainian language.
6. All works must comply with ethical standards and not contain offensive statements.
7. Participants, by submitting their works, automatically consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with Ukrainian legislation.
8. By submitting their works, participants confirm that they are the authors and assume responsibility for compliance with copyright laws.
9. Works that:
- do not meet the contest requirements;
- contain plagiarism;
- are submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
