Yesterday, Vienna hosted the anniversary music festival «Musical Gems of Odesa».

This notable event brought together the finest musicians on the stage of the Austrian capital, continuing the traditions that symbolize Odesa.

The festival was founded ten years ago by the renowned musician Igor Pokrovsky and has become a vital part of Odesa's cultural life. «Musical Gems» carry on the legacy of the esteemed educator Peter Stolyarsky, who mentored many gifted musicians. 

«This concert in Vienna is our gratitude for the support of Odesa and Ukraine during these challenging times. We are thankful to Austria for its solidarity, and it is a great honor for us to present Odesa's culture at such a high level. Odesa has always been the cultural capital of Ukraine, and we are committed to preserving its unique creative heritage for future generations», – stated Odesa's mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov at the festival opening.

The festival continues to strengthen cultural ties between Odesa and Vienna, gifting the world with new musical talents and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Ukrainian city.
