In Odessa, work has begun on a new well complex to provide residents with an alternative source of water. 
In September 2024, construction activities started in the park near the “Zoryany” cinema, as reported by the Odessa City Council press service. The aim of the project is to supply residents of the Peresyp district with quality artesian water.  Drilling and development of the artesian well have been completed, and its perimeter has been fenced with a decorative barrier.  Currently, contractors are working on the well building: equipment for water purification is being installed, a technical room for staff is being arranged, and a water distribution point is being established. The roofing of the building is in the final stages of completion. Additionally, interior finishing work is underway in the technical building: wall plastering, flooring, and installation of networks and communications. Preparatory work has also begun to beautify the area surrounding the well complex.  The completion of the well complex construction is planned for the summer of 2025.
