Odesa has once again come under attack: the city faced a drone assault.  This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

Last night, the peaceful city shook from explosions. Russia launched a massive drone attack, targeting residential areas and civil infrastructure, with damage also reported to the energy infrastructure.

A nine-story residential building was damaged, with the facade and roof destroyed on the ninth floor. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames on the upper levels.

Fires broke out in market pavilions and a supermarket.

Windows in nearby buildings were shattered, and local vehicles were damaged.

Unfortunately, preliminary reports indicate that one person was injured.

Our firefighters operated under extremely challenging conditions — firefighting was interrupted by repeated air raid alerts. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 23 residents caught in the epicenter of the events.

To address the aftermath, 58 rescuers and 16 units of equipment were deployed by the State Emergency Service.
