Since the onset of prolonged rainfall in Odessa, special equipment from the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» has been actively working on the streets to mitigate potential flooding.

Currently, traffic on the city streets remains clear. A total of 329 specialists and 48 units of equipment are engaged.

In cases of prolonged rains, like today, specialized water pumping vehicles, including a high-pressure hydrodynamic unit based on a MAN truck, are traditionally stationed on streets such as Balkivska, Prymorska, Yevhen Chykalenko, Heavenly Hundred, as well as on French Boulevard and Customs Square, where flooding is often expected during heavy rain.

Additionally, staff from the «City Roads» enterprise are on the streets, using excavators with special attachments or working manually to quickly clear storm drains and sewer wells of debris, branches, and leaves swept there by the torrents of rainwater.
