Key points:
- A recruitment center for the Ground Forces of Ukraine has opened in Odesa;
- The center provides a full range of enlistment services, including the “18-24” contract;
- Veterans assist recruits in selecting positions;
- It is possible to serve specifically in Odesa.
Odesa has joined the cities with a Ground Forces recruitment center
The recruitment center in Odesa is now part of the network of centers that already operate in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. It was established in 2024 upon the initiative of
the Ministry of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to streamline the enlistment process. This was reported by the center's press service.
The center is open to everyone who wants to apply their skills in the army: drivers, medics, artillery operators, and FPV drone pilots.
Advantages offered by the center include:
the ability to prepare all necessary documents on-site, including signing a contract under the “Contract 18-24” program – from personal files to psychological tests and medical examinations;
a complete package of services that were previously only available through personal visits to the office in Kyiv.
It is noted that the center is staffed by combat veterans who know exactly what to advise recruits regarding position selection in the Defense Forces.
“Working at the station is indeed effective. Our candidates who want to enlist but cannot travel to Kyiv come, get registered at our mobile points, and join the Ground Forces,” says senior officer of the recruitment department, mobile point leader Dmytro Andreychik.
If a person wants to serve specifically in Odesa, this is possible, confirms the military:
“We will be looking for the city of Odesa, not other regions like Kyiv or Sumy.”
