Preserving Urban Bus Stops in Odessa

image

In the city of Odessa, employees of the communal enterprise «City Roads» are continuously engaged in repairing public transport stops. Daily, new inscriptions appear, benches are broken, trash bins are destroyed, and glass structures are damaged. This is happening due to vandalism and road accidents.

Since the beginning of 2025, vandals have shattered glass at 31 bus stops, while another 7 were damaged due to enemy attacks. The staff also has to clean up inscriptions and notices that are left on the walls.

In total, the «City Roads» company is responsible for 1012 bus stops.

Specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of the areas around the stops, repair bins, benches, and pavilions, as well as clean and paint these structures.

The Odessa City Council once again appeals to residents and visitors to treat public property with care. Intentional destruction of municipal property carries legal responsibility.
