As of November 23, 2024, vehicular traffic has been restricted on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane (formerly Marinesko) in Odesa to facilitate the construction of a drainage system. The aim of these works is to stabilize landslide processes by installing drainage to intercept groundwater, particularly that generated during heavy rainfall, preventing further saturation and subsidence of the slope.

Due to the ongoing construction, traffic restrictions on Vitaliy Blazhko Lane have been extended until August 2, 2025.

This directive has been signed by the mayor.

In light of the ongoing works, temporary changes will be made to the urban public transport routes:

• Bus routes № 168, 240, 250

heading toward the Peresyp Bridges – from Pasteur Street to Olhiyivska Street (left turn), Staropodofrankivska Street, Olhiyivskyi Lane, Balkivska Street, Chornomorsky Kozak Street, and continuing along the routes;

• Bus routes № 105, 121, 145, 146, 242

heading towards the Peresyp Bridges - from Preobrazhenska Street to Futurists' Lane (Mayakovskyi Lane), Military Lane, Primorska Street, Chornomorsky Kozak Street, and continuing along the routes;

• Tram route № 7

from Chornomorsky Kozak Street to 28th Brigade Street (Paustovskyi Street) and back.

Tram route № 3 “16th st. of Lustdorf Road – Pasteur Street” has been organized with access to Starosinna Square.
