In Odesa, the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» manages 1012 public transport stops. Among them, 7 are referred to as «Belgian stops», which have been in existence for over a century.

Daily, unknown individuals leave graffiti, break benches, uproot trash cans along with concrete, and shatter the glass walls of the stops. These stops also suffer damage from traffic accidents and hostile actions.

The enterprise's specialists regularly perform sanitary cleaning of the surrounding area, repair trash cans, benches, and shelters, as well as wash and paint them.

This month, the municipal workers restored the century-old Belgian stop on 15th St. Fountains Road, which has been frequently vandalized. Graffiti marks are left on its walls.

Since the beginning of 2025, the enterprise's employees have painted 80 public transport stops and repaired 99 trash cans.

The Odesa City Council once again urges residents and visitors to take care of municipal property. Intentional damage to city property is punishable by law.
