Residents of Odessa are urged to be cautious regarding possible interference by outsiders in the housing support systems of their buildings. 

Recently, employees of the «JKS «Cheriomushki» received a request from residents at the address: Herenieva St., 10 about the need to drain water from the heating riser for the installation of new radiators. 

Upon arriving at the site, it was discovered that the lock on the basement door had been unlawfully replaced by a representative of the «Service Plus» company.

This company is not responsible for servicing the specified building, which hindered access for utility workers to the basement. 

According to the Act of readiness of the building for the heating season, signed jointly with the «City of Odessa Heat Supply», employees of the «JKS «Cheriomushki» are entitled to free access to this area. 

The building is serviced by the «JKS», as confirmed by the relevant contract. To carry out emergency operations, the utility workers cut off the old lock, installed a new one, and completed all necessary work. 

«The request has been processed, the radiators have been replaced, and the entire system is operational. The site is ready for the 2024-2025 heating season,» said Alexander Musafir, head of the district #2 of «JKS «Cheriomushki». 

This is not the first instance where employees of management companies that previously serviced buildings take unlawful actions regarding residential properties. 

Attention! Such actions are illegal, and residents are urged to report such cases to their «JKS» or to the hotline 15-01.
