This was a great chance to learn about crime investigation methods, understand the importance of adhering to the law, and perhaps even decide on their future career paths.

During the events held at educational institutions and police departments, the youth discovered that criminalists must be adept at crime scene analysis, using technical devices, documenting and classifying evidence, and analyzing gathered data. The quality of their work is crucial in determining whether a crime will be solved. Professionals shared their personal experiences, citing numerous instances where even seemingly insignificant evidence played a key role in identifying criminals.

Participants learned about the procedures police follow at crime scenes, how evidence is collected, and were introduced to the basics of fingerprinting. Many eager individuals practiced locating fingerprints of a hypothetical perpetrator at a simulated crime scene and taking prints from participants.

Additionally, police officers showcased the latest technology they employ in their work: electrostatic mats for detecting shoe prints, rapid tests for substance analysis, drones for assessing areas affected by shelling, floods, or fires, mobile DNA laboratories, and more.
