The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has introduced a new platform for registering in the Ukrainian studies program, aimed at children temporarily residing abroad. This program allows students to continue their education remotely in Ukrainian schools, reducing the educational burden and maintaining a connection with their native culture.
Parents can select a school that offers the Ukrainian studies component and enroll their child in this program.
How parents can register:
- Visit the platform at ukrainian.studies.mon.gov.ua
- Log in via id.gov.ua
- Create a profile for your child, choose a school and class
- Submit an application for enrollment
- Wait for a response from the school within 5 business days
«Currently, over 360,000 children are studying abroad while continuing to receive an education in Ukrainian schools remotely. Our goal is to ensure that every child, regardless of their location, has access to quality education. The Ukrainian studies component allows for maintaining a connection with Ukraine without additional educational burdens. Our platform simplifies the registration process and makes it clear for parents around the world,» said Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nadia Kuzmychova.
What is the Ukrainian studies component?
This program is designed for Ukrainian students temporarily living abroad.
Benefits include:

- continuing to receive Ukrainian education remotely;
- studying in a local school simultaneously.
What subjects are covered in the program?
- Ukrainian language
- Ukrainian literature
- History of Ukraine
- Geography of Ukraine
- Basics of law
