In celebration of Christmas and New Year, a series of festive events are traditionally held in educational institutions throughout the city.

Preschool facilities organized thematic classes titled «Christmas Star at the Doorstep», allowing children to immerse themselves in the Christmas spirit, learn about the traditions of the Holy Evening, and recreate some of them.

Musical-literary entertainments and themed classes about festive Ukrainian traditions were also held for the little ones. Preschoolers sang traditional Ukrainian carols, danced in circles, and crafted Christmas stars and protective amulets.

Moreover, preschool institutions hosted exhibitions of drawings titled «Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!».

At the Odessa children's home «Perlynka», «Ukrainian Evenings» were held. Boys and girls made dumplings and cooked kutya. They then all enjoyed a festive meal together and received sweet gifts. After lunch, the children attended the performance «In Search of Light».

At the Odessa Palace of Children and Youth Creativity «White Acacia», a New Year’s performance titled «Dreams Come True» took place, where over 200 students - young actors, singers, and dancers - showcased their talents, giving the audience incredible emotions and positive impressions.

As part of the «Warm Wave» initiative, students prepared letters for defenders. These were delivered along with treats to the hospital for injured soldiers and defenders on the front lines.
