In the Peresyp district of Odessa, a shocking incident took place when a man decided to perform a dangerous experiment in the apartment of his acquaintances. This resulted in an explosion, leading to the urgent hospitalization of all those involved.

This occurred on April 11, when a powerful blast echoed through a high-rise building. 

According to the National Police, a friend visited a couple living in the apartment where the explosion happened, bringing a military grenade with him. For unknown reasons, he decided to experiment by pulling the pin, which led to the explosion. The windows in the apartment shattered.

Fortunately, no one was killed, but all three individuals sustained injuries. The perpetrator injured his leg and was taken to the hospital. The couple was also hospitalized, but their injuries were minor.

The police are interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

Preliminary findings suggest that improper handling of explosive materials was the cause of this tragedy.
