It has been revealed, which participants made it to the final of the contest taking place this Saturday, May 17. Following the voting results, Ukraine, represented by the band Ziferblat with their song "Bird of Pray", has advanced to the next stage.
During the first semi-final, Ziferblat delivered a truly spectacular performance with pyrotechnics. The stage design was adorned in soft pink hues with elements of retro aesthetics. The band's members donned stylish 70s costumes that beautifully complemented the profound message of the song. Daniel Leshchynski's powerful vocals, conveying the pain for Ukraine, earned loud applause from the audience at St. Jakobshalle.
The competitive song "Bird of Pray", sung in both English and Ukrainian, tells a story of loss and hope, a spiritual prayer that transcends the chaos of war and the darkness of internal struggles. Special mention goes to the backing vocalist Kristyna, who, despite the tragic loss of her home due to shelling in eastern Ukraine, performed on stage, moving many viewers.
The grand final of "Eurovision 2025", in which Ukraine is participating, will take place on Saturday, May 17. A total of 26 countries will compete, and our band Ziferblat will once again showcase their talent in an effort to win for Ukraine.
