In Odessa, police arrested a man linked to the murder of his friend. The suspect brutally killed his acquaintance with a bottle, fists, and feet after suspecting him of stealing his wallet. Charges have been filed against the suspect, and a preventive measure has been enacted.

Recently, a woman discovered a bloodied body near a high-rise building on Heroes of Krut Street and called the police. An investigative team and a mobile DNA lab were dispatched to the scene. Within half an hour, law enforcement identified a 37-year-old man with a criminal record for theft as being involved.

"Officers determined that the night before, the suspect had been drinking alcohol with a 43-year-old local acquaintance in the yard between buildings. During their intoxicated gathering, the younger man realized his wallet was missing and began accusing the older man of theft. In the ensuing conflict, he fatally struck him with a glass bottle, fists, and feet.

The victim's body was sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death, while the suspect was apprehended nearby. Authorities confiscated a wallet that he had overlooked in his pocket, bloodied clothes, and other items relevant to the investigation," the report states.

Investigators charged the detained individual with intentional murder. This crime is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. The court has placed the suspect under detention as a precautionary measure.
