Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal traffic accident near Peresyp Bridge that resulted in a woman's death. The incident occurred on March 4 at around 7 PM.

The head of the transport crime investigation department of the Odessa regional police, Dmytro Slyuta, reported that a 53-year-old driver of a DAF truck, while turning from Otaman Holovaty Street onto Balkivska Street, struck a woman who was crossing the road.

"Unfortunately, the victim, whose identity is still being established, succumbed to her injuries," the police stated.
