On March 27, during a patrol of the state border, the crew of a Maritime Guard boat discovered an empty inflatable boat in the sea. Upon closer inspection, the border guards saw a man clinging to the side of the vessel, struggling to get out of the water. This information was reported by the Maritime Guard of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Due to the cold water temperature, the victim was rapidly losing strength. The sailors immediately pulled him aboard, provided essential assistance, and warmed him up with hot tea. It turned out that the man had fallen into the water due to his own recklessness. The boat was taken in tow and brought to shore.

"The rescued individual's condition is satisfactory, and he did not require medical assistance" - stated in the report.
