The annual competition for emergency medical personnel took place in Odesa. During the event, medical staff were presented with new vehicles and specialized uniforms. The regional administration also played a role in organizing the event, as reported by the Odesa Regional Health Department.

The event was held at the transport unit of the Odesa Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care. The primary goal was to enhance the effectiveness and teamwork of medical professionals under challenging conditions.

The Odesa Regional State Administration and the Health Department were the organizers. During the official part, the head of the OVA, Oleg Kiper, presented keys to 11 new emergency vehicles, which will be distributed among the districts and the city of Odesa.

As part of the “Health of Odesa Region” program, the service workers were also given certificates for new specialized uniforms. Representatives from the National Police and the State Emergency Service expressed gratitude for effective cooperation during emergency response efforts.

Following the awards ceremony, a practical competition stage took place where teams operated in conditions closely resembling real-life situations. The event concluded with a large-scale simulation of an emergency scenario involving representatives from the Ukrainian Red Cross.
