Orthopedic and trauma specialists from Odesa are representing Ukraine at the German Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology taking place in Berlin from October 28 to 31, 2025.

Ukrainian experts are showcasing their surgical techniques on an international platform and discussing further collaboration opportunities with colleagues worldwide.

During the congress, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the All-Ukrainian Association of Trauma Surgery and the German Society of Orthopedic Surgery. This document solidifies a strategic partnership between these two influential professional communities, opening new avenues for experience exchange, joint research, and participation in international educational programs.

“Signing this memorandum is a significant step for our country, ensuring collaboration between two major professional associations from Ukraine and Germany. It expands our access to modern European science and clinical practices, allowing us to implement advancements in global traumatology and orthopedics into our medical care,” emphasized Sergey Varzary, the chief orthopedic trauma specialist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
