The Odesa Primary Medical Care Center No. 3 has launched a new project aimed at providing medical services for veterans, enhancing their health and quality of life.

This initiative, implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, significantly expands access to free medical services for veterans at the primary care level.

The focus is on addressing issues related to the consequences of combat, providing psychological support, comprehensive treatment follow-up, and social assistance.

Combat participants who have been discharged from military service, as well as individuals with war-related disabilities, can utilize these services.

What services are available for veterans?

1. Individualized medical plans, examinations, diagnostics, and preventive check-ups considering health status, chronic diseases, and risks.

2. Screening for conditions related to combat experiences, such as PTSD, chronic pain, hypertension, and others.

3. Expanded psychological support and psychotherapy services.

4. Consultations with psychiatrists and psychologists, both individual and group therapies, programs for managing stress and anxiety.

5. Support in treating the aftermath of combat injuries, including orthopedic and neurological consultations, treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.

6. Diagnosis and treatment of vision and hearing impairments.

7. Development of individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with traumatic conditions.

8. Prescription of medications for chronic pain management and control of neurological and emotional disorders.

9. Monitoring and support in combating addictions.

10. Social worker consultations regarding access to medical and social services, veterans' rights, and support for social integration.

To access the services, a declaration with a family doctor at the Center is required, along with original documents confirming veteran status.
