An international cardiology conference was held in Odessa.

The event featured scientific presentations, discussions on crucial aspects of cardiology development, and a practical masterclass conducted at the City Clinical Hospital No. 10 of the Odessa City Council. The conference, titled «Current Challenges in Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Treatment: A Multidisciplinary Approach», lasted for two days.

Participants noted the significance of this event for both experienced doctors and medical students.
During the conference, specialists from Lviv, interventional cardiologists Liliya Sorokhtey and Yuriy Melent, performed a surgery that was broadcast live to physicians worldwide.

Dr. Alfonso Ielasi from Galeazzi Hospital (Milan) joined the broadcast to provide commentary on the surgical procedure.
The topics discussed were relevant not only for the present but also for the future of medicine.

Participants included interventional cardiologist Liliya Sorokhtey from the Ukrainian-Polish Heart Center «Lviv», Dr. Alfonso Ielasi from Galeazzi Hospital San Ambrogio (Milan, Italy), Professor Olena Yakymenko, a distinguished figure in science and technology in Ukraine, and the director of City Clinical Hospital No. 10, Professor Denys Sebov.
