A recent assessment of water quality in 16 public wells in Odessa confirmed compliance with hygiene standards.
This information was released by the Odessa City Council.
The study was conducted by specialists from the State Institution «Odessa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine» under an agreement with the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center». Testing is carried out on a monthly basis.
According to microbiological test results as of March 31, 2025, the water in the wells meets the sanitary requirements of DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10. All research protocols are available for public viewing directly at the wells.
It is noted that around 45 thousand residents of Odessa use the water from these wells daily. The wells have depths ranging from 111 to 149 meters, with an average consumption of 8 to 12 cubic meters of water per day in each complex.
