On May 7, 2025, a grand opening of the 31st international children’s art exhibition titled «Easter Glow» took place at the Holy Archangel Michael Women’s Monastery in Jerusalem.

This contest was established to support talented children and to create conditions for their creative and intellectual growth.

The «Easter Glow» exhibition brought together children from different nations. For 31 years, this large-scale artistic project has been ongoing. In 2025, the exhibition featured works from children not only in Ukraine but also from many European countries, continuing their creative activities thanks to the support of family and teachers.

The exhibition consists of 300 pieces, with about 100 awarded diplomas. The display includes works created in various materials and techniques - watercolor, gouache, graphic art, dolls, stained glass, paper sculpture, decorative compositions, and more. The selection was made by a prestigious jury led by Galina Lekareva-Nikitina, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and a distinguished cultural worker.

In their drawings, children express personal impressions of the surrounding world, reflecting folk traditions with sincerity and directness.

As per tradition, the best works were recognized in three categories - painting, graphics, and decorative applied arts. This year, children from Ukraine, the Republic of Poland, and the USA participated in the competition.
