The state will fully cover the costs of contract education for the children of defenders during the 2024/2025 academic year.

This was reported by the press service of the "Diia" platform.

"The first 1,000 certificates are already on their way to this year's graduates of bachelor's and master's programs. Look out for notifications in "Diia"", the message states.

If you have already received a notification, you need to:

Open "Diia" → check your details in the certificate → confirm your consent via Diia.Signature within 20 days → you will then receive a notification about the outcome.

The funds from the government will be sent directly to your educational institution, and the institution will reimburse you.

Compensation will be provided to children (up to 23 years old):

• of deceased defenders of Ukraine;
• military personnel with disabilities due to the war;
• participants in combat operations;
• missing under special circumstances;
• prisoners due to armed aggression;
• victims of the Revolution of Dignity.

Requirements for compensation:

• ID card or biometric passport in "Diia";
• verified tax number;
• information about the student in the EDBO and the status of the veteran's child of the relevant category;
• contractual form of education in 2024/2025.
