On the evening of July 13, a fire broke out in an abandoned structure outside the village of Serhiyivka in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The fire was promptly extinguished over an area of 18 square meters. Unfortunately, a male citizen born in 1962 sustained burns and was hospitalized in moderate condition.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are currently being investigated.

One piece of equipment and six firefighters were involved in the response.
