Last night, a fire broke out in an apartment on the 13th floor of a 16-story residential building in Limanka, located in the Odesa region.

This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

Rescuers evacuated 23 residents using stairs and saved 3 dogs. The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters.

Due to significant smoke, rescuers operated with respiratory and visibility protection equipment. For effective ventilation, they used a smoke removal device. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

The cause of the fire and damages are currently being investigated.

9 units of equipment and 29 firefighters were involved from the emergency services.
