New Mobile Shelters in Ukrainian Ports

By the end of this year, the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine aims to set up 38 new mobile shelters in the ports of Greater Odesa, the Danube, and Mykolaiv region.
According to the press service of the ASPU, “Ensuring the safety of our personnel is a key condition for the stable operation of the industry.”
These new shelters will enable rapid responses to threats, reduce access time to protective structures, and safeguard individuals crucial for the daily functioning of critical infrastructure.”
Currently, the ports already have stationary protective structures and a number of mobile shelters in place. However, the scale of the areas, the specifics of operations, and the short flight time of ballistic missiles necessitate additional solutions.
Recently, the Port of Odesa added 10 new modular shelters installed with the assistance of the «Ukrainian Foundation». They are located directly near the workstations for quick access to protection.
