Starting September 15, 2025, Ukrposhta will begin beta testing a new mobile application that includes the most requested features.
The company's CEO, Igor Smilyansky, shared this news via Telegram.
«We plan to roll out the app in three phases, similar to how leading companies worldwide operate. Today, we are launching the beta version with the most anticipated features. We invite everyone to download it, test it, and leave feedback — there is a special form for that», he stated.
The new app already includes push notifications for package arrivals, delivery status updates, reminders for collection, and new promotions. All shipments associated with a specific phone number will also be displayed automatically.
Additionally, a detailed tracking feature has been implemented, allowing users to monitor all information about the parcel: route, sender, recipient, tariff, status, payment details, and a barcode for scanning at the post office. Universal search for shipments and an interactive map of branches with addresses, working hours, and online payment (currently only available during the shipment creation phase) are also included.
«One more unique feature that no one else has. When creating a shipment, you can choose the option based on price and delivery times: more expensive and next day (the «Priority» rate) if you're in a hurry, or 2-4 days (the «Basic» rate)», Smilyansky added.
In the second phase, the head of Ukrposhta promises to introduce package management features (redirecting, changing the recipient) and payment by the recipient. After launching this phase, the operator plans to eliminate all paper forms in branches. Everything will be available online or through the call center.
The functionality will be expanded in the third phase: users will be able to accept payments and order goods, stamps, medicines, and more through the app.
Smilyansky noted that the app is a proprietary development of Ukrposhta, without involving third-party companies.
As a reminder, Ukrposhta is also launching «Express Window» in its branches to expedite service for package and letter recipients.
