On September 20, 2025, Ukraine will take part in the global initiative «World Cleanup Day», joining millions from 211 countries. Residents of cities, towns, and villages will unite for the purpose of cleaning the environment from waste and fostering a culture of cleanliness. In 2024, over 404,000 participants cleaned more than 26,000 locations across 24 regions in Ukraine, including Ukrainians abroad. According to the international ranking, Ukraine ranked 11th among 211 participating countries.
The event in Odesa will take place on September 20, 2025, at Shevchenko Park (near the Shell) at 10:00 AM.
How to participate:
- By September 20, choose a convenient format: alone, with friends, family, or colleagues;
- Clean up your favorite park, street, or yard from trash;

The event will be held considering safety conditions and martial law.

Participation formats for the Global Cleanup Day 2025:
- Traditional cleanups: cleaning parks, yards, and public spaces. Participation can be individual or in groups, ensuring safety is observed.
- Digital cleanup: decluttering your electronic devices and deleting unnecessary information to reduce your digital footprint: letsdoitukraine.org/digitalcleanup
- Recycling sorting: join the project «Find. Sort. Deliver» and contribute to the National map of recycling points: recyclingpoints.org
- Ukrainians abroad can organize cleanups and support Ukraine, with mandatory result registration.
