Today, October 1st, Ukraine celebrates Defender's Day. This day is dedicated to honoring the unwavering spirit of those who fought for our independence, as well as the modern Ukrainian soldiers and veterans who protect our territorial integrity.

The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, sent greetings on this special occasion:

Thanks to you, we hope for a better future. We do not just express gratitude; we actively support: we work, volunteer, and pray. We are building a country to which you will return victorious. May every «thank you» serve as your armor, and may every child's smile, every peaceful morning, and every new day confirm that your fight is not in vain. May God protect Ukraine!»
