Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk noted that on Territorial Defense Day, the Territorial Defense symbolizes the readiness of Ukrainians to protect their land at all times.
«Territorial defense is a symbol of Ukrainians' readiness to defend their land at any time. From the first days of the Russian invasion, thousands of men and women in the Territorial Defense Forces have stood to protect Ukrainian cities and villages, stopping the enemy where they attempted to break through and guarding critical infrastructure,» Stefanchuk remarked.
«Thank you to all who serve in the ranks of Territorial Defense. Your resolve and readiness to defend your homeland is the strength that makes Ukraine unbreakable. Today and every day, during the national moment of silence, Ukraine bows its head in memory of everyone who gave their lives for freedom,» emphasized Stefanchuk.
