Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of automated parcel machines. According to the company's statement, the first 100 units will be installed by the end of this year.
Initially, only residents of Kyiv, where 70 parcel machines will be located, and Odesa, where 30 units will be installed, will be able to use this new service. The company plans to expand the network across Ukraine by 2026.
Packages can be picked up using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is now available on App Store and Google Pay.
As stated in the announcement, Ukrposhta's parcel machines have been designed with enhanced security standards and are capable of operating even without electricity or connectivity.
