Tragedy in Odesa Region: Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Claims a Life

In the past day, a case of carbon monoxide poisoning was reported in the Odesa region, leading to the hospitalization of two women and the death of one man. This information was provided by the Odesa Emergency Services on October 19.
According to the rescuers, the incident occurred on October 18 in the city of Ananyiv, located in the Podilskyi district. The women, born in 1973 and 1979, are in serious condition at the hospital. A man born in 1970 was also found dead in the residence, showing signs of carbon monoxide poisoning.
During the inspection, rescuers found no signs of fire or burning in the house. Preliminary data indicates that the poisoning was caused by a gas leak due to a lack of ventilation in the heating system, the Emergency Services reported.
